The offerings of a city as remarkable and fascinating as Austin can be described in a myriad of ways.  Truly, one could wax poetic from sunrise to sunset regarding her finer points and still not begin to touch the very essence of Austin’s heart.  It makes sense then, that one must narrow down the reasons people love Austin to just a few key factors.

Austin, how do we love thee? Let us count the ways:

1.      Opportunities. The diverse cultural opportunities Austinites can experience any day of the year are endless.  From food to clothing to art to music.  Austin was born from diversity.  Good food. Local clothing. Art and the artist.

2.      High-tech is here. Technology companies such as Apple, Amazon, Dell, Google, Tesla are driving the economy and job space opportunities for Austinites and those looking to make Austin home.  Find your place in technology.

3.      The great outdoors at every turn. Zilker Park, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Mount Bonnell and Lady Bird Lake are just some of the many places families and the avid outdoorsperson can find peace.  Dip your toes here.

4.      Adulting can be hard but not in Austin.  Austin knows.  She offers a solid nightlife and a diverse selection of drinks to anyone with a mind to look.  Austin has many amazing nightclubs, breweries and event venues.  The party doesn’t begin until you arrive.  Party on!

5.      Austin living. Pick your ‘hood.  No matter your lifestyle, home style or label, Austin has a neighborhood for you.  From traditional to eccentric, urban to rural, quiet to roaring, in Austin, there is a place for you to make a house a home.   After all, home is where you hang your hat…or crown.

In the simplest of terms, Austin is culturally diverse, tech savvy, lifestyle and environmentally friendly, outdoor and recreationally driven. And for many, the “Keep Austin Weird” mentality has become more than just a funny catchphrase.  It has become a call to balance the necessity of work with the necessity for recreation.  In other words, people today are working to live, not living to work.  For those coming here in droves, Austin presents the perfect place to adopt this mantra.

Let us show you the many ways we love Austin and the surrounding area!
